Initial studies aimed to the development of alternatives to control
roots and collar rot of passion fruit, by evaluation in laboratory
conditions of the antagonistic effect of Trichoderma spp. to
Fusarium solani, and the chemicals effects of pesticides on the
mycelial growth and of Trichoderma and F. solani. Three species
of Trichoderma were used: T. longibrachiatum, T. harzianum e
T. viride, and three isolates of F. solani collected in different regions.
