[EN] Virtual labs can be adopted as a complement of the university traditional teaching methodologies. This paper describes the results of a teaching pilot project which enabled the use of a commercial processsimulator (Hysys) in the implementation of five virtual labs related to three important unit operations in Chemical Engineering: liquid-liquid extraction, distillation, and heat exchange.
