From the point of view of the competences assessment, in this paper the Andalusian higher education access test in the subject of Chemistry is analysed. For this purpose, a content analysis was done, taking as reference 576 questions corresponding to the PAU questions raised between 2002 and 2013 in the Andalusian universities.
